Window Blind & Shutter Detailing

$15.00

Window coverings are notorious magnets for dust, pet dander, and grease, requiring meticulous hand-work to clean safely. Because they are delicate and highly time-consuming, this targeted restoration service can be added to any deep clean or move-out package to ensure every inch of the room is truly flawless. Windows and blinds can be combined to one cost with on-site walkthrough. BASE PRICE shown.

  • What’s Included:

    • Hand-Wiping & Detailing: Individual, horizontal/vertical hand-wiping of each slat to remove built-up dust, film, and fingerprints.

    • Hardware & Components: Dusting and wiping of the blind headers, tilt mechanisms, and pull cords.

    • Material-Safe Methods: Custom care tailored to faux-wood, wood, vinyl, or plantation shutters.

  • What’s Not Included:

    • Take-Down or Washing: We do not remove blinds from the windows or submerge them in water/ultrasonic tanks.

    • Repair Work: We do not fix broken cords, cracked slats, or faulty rotation mechanisms.

    • Fabric Drapes: Detailed laundering or dry-cleaning of fabric curtains or valances is excluded.

    Pricing & Notes:

Quoted individually based on the total number of window sets and blind types. Blind detailing must be scheduled in conjunction with a primary cleaning package.

  • Standard 2" Faux-Wood / Real Wood Blinds:$20 – $35 per window

    • Why: These are standard in most modern homes. They have wider slats, which makes hand-wiping easier than mini-blinds, but they hold a lot of dust and grease.

  • Plantation Shutters (Wood or Poly):$30 – $50 per window

    • Why: These require meticulous detailing of the louvers, frame, tilt rod, and hinges. They take significantly longer but have a very high perceived value.

  • Vinyl or Aluminum Mini-Blinds (1" slats):$15 – $25 per window

    • Why: The narrow slats are tedious and fragile. If they are heavily soiled with grease (like in a kitchen), stick to the higher end of the scale.
