Frequently Asked Questions

Are you fully licensed and insured, and can you provide a COI with an additional insured endorsement?

Yes, absolutely. Clear Crew carries comprehensive general liability insurance. We can have our agent issue a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing your company as an additional insured before we step foot on the job site.

Do you specialize in rough cleans, final cleans, or puff/touch-up cleans—and do your bids include all three?

We provide all three phases of construction cleaning. However, we know every project timeline is different. Our standard practice is to do a property walkthrough with you first so we can tailor a line-item bid that covers exactly what you need, whether that's a full three-phase package or strictly a final white-glove turnover

Are you and your crew OSHA compliant, and do you require PPE on site?

Our team strictly adheres to all site safety protocols. We require standard PPE (hard hats, safety vests, high-visibility gear, and protective footwear) whenever required by the active state of the job site. Additionally, our crew is equipped with specialty particulate masks/respirators specifically for handling heavy dust during rough cleans to ensure full compliance and safety.

How do you handle window scrape and sticker removal without scratching high-end glass?

Glass protection is a priority for us. Glass will always be wet when we are working with sharp cleaning tools. Specialized paint scrapers and razor blades are used, working exclusively in a single direction to cleanly lift manufacturer stickers, silicone, or overspray without ever scratching the glass.

What is your process for removing heavy dust from high-ceiling commercial spaces and HVAC vents?

To ensure fine construction dust doesn't just resettle, we use industrial, HEPA-filter backpack vacuums to safely pull dust out of window tracks, baseboards, and cabinet corners. For high-ceiling commercial spaces and the exterior of HVAC vents, we utilize high-reach extension poles paired with specialized dusters to safely capture airborne debris from the top down

How do you treat and clean delicate or specialty surfaces like unsealed stone, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), or custom cabinetry?

We treat custom finishes with extreme care. Prior to starting any cleaning process, we audit the site’s finishes and confirm surface types. We only use manufacturer-approved, pH-neutral products—including specialized stone polishes, stainless steel cleaners, and plastic scrapers that safely pop off drywall mud or caulking without damaging brand-new materials

What is your capacity, and how fast can you turn around a [X,000] square foot project?

Our exact turnaround time depends on the scope of work and the current condition of the job site. Because we scale our crew size dynamically based on the project size, we ensure we hit your exact scheduling windows without compromising on our detailed standard.

Can your team work around our punch-list subcontractors if trades are still finishing up?

We are highly adaptable and can seamlessly coordinate around active trades during the rough and standard cleaning phases. However, to protect your investment and guarantee a true white-glove finish, we highly recommend that the final clean and touch-up phases take place once the trades have completely vacated the space.

Do you bring all of your own commercial gear, water, and power, or do you rely on site utilities?

Clear Crew brings all of our own commercial-grade equipment, specialty cleaning kits, and heavy vacuums to the site. For larger projects, we manage any necessary heavy equipment rentals internally. We do require that permanent site power and hot water be active on-site at all times so our equipment can run at full capacity to deliver a flawless clean.

What is your internal punch-list and quality assurance process before you sign off on the handover?

We utilize a strict, field-tested 'Final White-Glove Clean Checklist' for every single project. Our team wears protective booties to safeguard the pristine floors we clean. A supervisor performs a meticulous room-by-room walkthrough checking off every surface—from the interior of drawers to upper trim—ensuring the property is 100% move-in ready before we officially sign off on the handover.
